South of England Champs

Team Kennet had three athletes compete in the under 20 South of England Championships at Bedford on Saturday.

Ben East came away with a Silver Medal in the Javelin in the men’s category throwing a personnel best and breaking his own club record with a throw of 61.34m, keeping him 4th in the UK rankings, in his first year in this age group. Harry Booker just missed out on a medal in the Discus finishing 4th with his best throw his opener 35.16 which gained him a personnel best and new club record as well.
In the u20 Ladies Phoebe Hoaen finished 5th in the Javelin throwing 39.14m
