Nat. Prep School Championships

Team Kennet had several athletes competing for their schools at the recent Prep National School Championships held at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

Imogen Wiggin competing in the under 14s 800m earned herself a Silver medal in a close finish that was right on the line clocking 2.24. Wiggin ran a steady race to settle in third place at the bell, she then went past the second place girl with 250m to go, then gradually caught the leader to the finish line to be just pipped by .1 second.

Annabel Todd competed also in the 800m in the under 12s. She was also in a fast and gruelling race with temperatures hitting the 30 degrees. She had to settle for a bronze in another fast time of 2.26.

Lottie Absolom also in the u12s just missed out on medals in the High Jump, clearing 1.41 for 4th place, another height she would of won on count back
