Schools Athletics

Team Kennet has proudly supported and developed school athletics across West Berkshire and the surrounding areas for many years. Working closely with local schools, teachers and the Schools Sports Partnership, the club has helped create opportunities for thousands of young people to experience athletics in a fun, inclusive and inspiring environment. Through events such as QuadKids festivals, school competitions and wider athletics initiatives, Team Kennet has played a key role in encouraging participation across running, jumping and throwing disciplines. Over time, these opportunities have helped strengthen the connection between schools and community sport, giving pupils access to competition, coaching and pathways into athletics that continue well beyond the school environment.
